Kids Canvas
Side‑by‑side comparison to the original dimensions.
Kids Canvas- Ink Stamped
The Titanic did not carry lifebelts specifically designed for children, so I created a scaled‑down version of the original to give kids a hands‑on experience.
The child‑sized lifebelt is nearly indistinguishable from the full‑size version unless the two are viewed side by side. This reproduction is approximately 27% smaller than the original.
Fabric: Natural‑colored cotton canvas with matching one‑inch‑wide twill.
Ink Stamps: Proportionately scaled down to match the smaller lifebelt size.
Twill Tapes: Two 28‑inch ties on each side, made from a single 68‑inch length of twill, attached at the back and hand‑sewn on each side.
Dimensions: Approximately 38 inches long by 8.5 inches wide. Designed to fit children wearing youth sizes small, medium, and large.
Cork Blocks: Approximately 1.4‑inch‑thick cork cells, with six blocks on each side, divided down the center.
Whip Stitching: Double‑threaded and cross‑stitched over the twill tapes using linen thread.
Weight: Approximately 4 lbs.
